Embedded Software Integration Test Engineer*

This will make you grow:
  • Plan, execute, and report software integration tests for embedded automotive ECUs prior to system and vehicle-level testing
  • Validate correct interaction between infotainment systems and other vehicle ECUs (e.g. Gateway, BCM, ADAS, Telematics).
  • Define integration test strategies, test cases, and test scenarios based on: Software and system requirements; Software architecture and interfaces; Communication matrices (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
  • Execute functional, integration, and regression testing on bench, SIL, HIL, and vehicles.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of integration issues, and support debugging in collaboration with development teams
  • Support software and hardware integration phases, including new software releases, hardware variants, and vehicle configurations.
  • Track defects, manage test coverage, and ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and results
  • Support release decisions by providing objective evidence of software integration maturity
And this is how you'll take us forward:
  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience in embedded software testing and integration, preferably in the automotive domain
  • Good understanding of: ECU architecture and embedded software stacks
  • Understanding of communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
  • Ability to read and understand software architecture documents, interface descriptions, and requirements
  • Basic knowledge of programming and scripting languages used for testing and analysis, such as: Python, CAPL or similar automotive scripting languages
  • Kotlin, for understanding Android-based application behavior and test scenarios (no feature development required)
  • Experience in defect tracking and test management tools
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
