Role Purpose

We are seeking talented Radar Engineers across a broad range of specialties to support the research, design, development, testing, and deployment of advanced radar systems, including Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). This opportunity is open to professionals with expertise in any radar-related discipline, such as RF engineering, signal processing, systems engineering, algorithm development, hardware design, modeling & simulation, embedded systems, SAR imaging, and system integration. Candidates will contribute to innovative sensing solutions spanning commercial, scientific, industrial, aerospace, and defense applications.

Responsibilities will vary depending on specialization and experience level but may include:

  • Designing and developing radar or SAR systems, subsystems, or components.
  • Performing system analysis, modeling, and performance simulations.
  • Developing signal processing, imaging, or detection algorithms.
  • Designing, testing, or optimizing RF and microwave hardware.
  • Implementing real-time processing solutions on embedded or high-performance platforms.
  • Developing SAR image formation, calibration, or post-processing techniques.
  • Conducting laboratory testing, field trials, and performance validation.
  • Analyzing radar datasets and improving system performance.
  • Supporting system integration, calibration, and deployment.
  • Documenting designs, procedures, and technical results.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and research teams.

And this is how you‘ll take us forward:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related technical field.
  • Understanding radar fundamentals such as propagation, detection theory, resolution, ambiguity, noise, and interference.
  • Familiarity with radar or SAR system concepts.
  • Experience in at least one technical radar domain (hardware, software, algorithms, modeling, or systems).
  • Programming or technical computing experience such as Python (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas), C++, or MATLAB, alongside experience with GIS tools (QGIS, SNAP) and Linux/Shell scripting, etc.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • NATO citizenship
